Meghloom is a producer enterprise founded by Khasi Eri silk rearers, hand spinners, dyers, and weavers. Meghloom brings hand-spun, naturally dyed, handwoven Eri Silk products from the Eastern hills of the Himalayas. The company is being promoted in partnership with Meghalaya State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) and FDRVC as Technical Support Agency to implement the approved intervention plan for the PC.
Set in the local rural economy, Meghloom produces Eri silk reared, spun, dyed and woven by us in the villages of the Ribhoi district of East Khasi Hills. Extending the people a heart of our labour of love, we create exclusive natural dye extracted from the local fauna from our villages.
