Objective
Meghloom is distributing Kessaru seeds to 20 - 25 members to make a nursery. Once the nursery is three months old and the saplings are prominent. The saplings will be distributed to all the interested rearers. But the Kessaru trees will be ready to be self-sustainable and provide food leaves in the coming five years. The long-term plan is to plant enough trees that can feed an increased number of silkworms.
Meghloom is distributing castor seeds too. The enterprise has already distributed 110 kg of castor seeds to 250+ members. The distribution is offering two solutions. The members who got the castor seeds can get leaves feeding silkworms which can form 10kg of cocoon shells.
Additionally, these castor trees can provide seeds for the next cycle, which can help an additional five hundred more members.
