Omna

A collection of six pieces of apparel is created with Eri silk fabric. This collection creatively uses shorter widths of fabrics woven in Ri Bhoi districts. Omna, as the word symbolises, means pure. This collection highlights the textures of Eri in its true form as created by the artisans. This collection uses a colour palette dyed with natural dyes and kora (undyed Eri). The highlight of the collection is the minimal embroidered details with Eri embroidery threads and easy-to-wear all-purpose silhouettes with box plates and bias cuts. The collection is developed for the multi-purpose use of Eri for all seasons and occasions.
